Water Feature Design
Adding a water feature design to your landscape introduces the sound of water into your space and creates a soothing atmosphere for you and your guests to enjoy. At Botanical Decorators, we offer a variety of unique backyard water features that can be incorporated into your Potomac area landscape as subtle works of art or stunning focal features. Some backyard water features to consider include:
Sheer descent water feature. If you’re looking for pool water features, you may want to consider a sheer descent water feature design. The water’s steady flow creates a calming environment in your backyard. In fact, one of our award winning landscape designs, the Lloyds Lane front yard project, received recognition in part because of the 8 inch sheer descent waterfall we installed, which you can see from the house.
Ponds. We install a variety of ponds, including koi ponds, which feature beautiful koi fish swimming and add a unique naturalistic water element to your landscape. If you’re looking for a different style pond, our landscape designers can also build other variations of a naturalistic pond.
Pool Water Features
Custom pools are becoming an integral part of landscape designs in Potomac. And with the right pool water features, your swimming pool area can become an even more stunning focal point to your landscape. At Botanical Decorators, we offer the following pool water features:
Waterfalls. We can install a waterfall in your custom pool area as one way to transform your backyard into an outdoor retreat. We can also include swimming pool grottos into the design so you can swim through an enclosed-space while listening to the soothing sounds of flowing water above.
Waterfalls from the hot tub. We can build a waterfall that connects your hot tub to your swimming pool and creates a distinctive look within your pool area.
Vanishing edge. If you want to add a dramatic flair to your landscape, consider a vanishing edge. This style water feature design includes a sudden edge, making it appear as though you’re looking over a cliff.
Infinity pool. Including an infinity pool in your custom pool design is another way to add drama to your landscape. Infinity pools create the illusion that the water flows endlessly into the distance.
